What is going on ON PLANET EARTH?

It is something we have all wondered at some point in our life. The complexity, the absurdity, it is really a strange but beautiful world we live in. From our sciences (Global Warming) to our ideologies, to our politics (Iraq War, Immigration issues in US & Canada), to our governments, something has gone seriously wrong and yet we have as a whole not quite admitted it to ourselves.

In the words of Bill Hicks, the famous comedian:

"It's just a handful of people that run everything, and that's provable.... I have this feeling that whoever's elected president, like Clinton was, no matter what promises you make on the campaign trail - blah, blah, blah - when you win, you go into this smoky room with the twelve industrialist, capitalist scumfucks that got you in there, and this little screen comes down... and it's a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you've never seen before, which looks suspiciously off the grassy knoll....
And then the screen comes up, the lights come on, and they say to the new president, 'Any questions?' ...
[President]: 'Just what my agenda is.'"

We live in a world without trust. We are unable to trust. This has escalated thanks to the recent War on Terror propaganda efforts, encouraging an "Us and THEM" attitude, expressed simply "You're either with us, or against us."

When the Internet's use became widespread we were warned "Don't believe everything you read on the Internet", given its Military Intelligence roots that was an apt warning for the time. Man cannot trust his fellow man. Especially men with "authority." The first step is then to learn who we cannot trust!

In this world, men who make their fortunes exploiting their fellow man can be labeled philanthropists. This is a telling example of how those with (or in) power create realities in an attempt to control or influence the public.

A Highly organized Cabal (Cartel) exists, serving its own interests at the expense of all others! One telling example is the Rockefeller Foundation's funding of Greenpeace, another is the almost unbelievable story of how a Polish salesman went from selling lethal gases to the Nazis went on to become Pope John Paul II.

After years of studying the present cabal, Arthur S. Miller, George Washington University law professor asserted:

"Those who formally rule take their signals and commands not from the electorate as a body, but from a small group of men (plus a few women). . . . It exists even though that existence is stoutly denied. It is one of the secrets of the American social order. . . . A second secret is the fact that the existence of the Establishment -- the ruling class -- is not supposed to be discussed.''

When a peaceful protest is held, no matter how well organized, a select group of protesters become violent, which justifies further police presence. It seems quite obvious that protests are being infiltrated by people with ulterior motives, or at worst, by agents of the very people being protested against.

The inquiring mind is presented with such an dilemma as to be unthinkable. Questions yield only more questions. The first question is this.

In the search for Truth Where do you begin?

Psy-ops and Counter-Intelligence play a role that cannot be understated in our current society. On the Internet, Intelligence agencies promote disinformation and try to get people to believe in all manner of aliens and other distractions.

Intriguing but over-hyped Mayan Calendars, End Times, bogus Sumerian astrology. Press releases from government departments are read as news. The CIA's presence at major newspapers/networks is undeniable. Drug running is done by those at the very top, who are protected by corrupt judges and lawyers. In many cases an "old boys club" of media owners ensures certain interests are protected.

Globalization, the New Imperialism, continues to make the rich people and countries richer, and the poor of course poorer.

Loch Ness videographer 'couldn't believe my eyes'
Putin says test missile is signal to U.S.

News is made to seem surreal by severe contrast between topics made to seem equal in their importance or worth (ie. Reports on the war transition into Entertainment or Sports). In this case, the Loch Ness story is interesting, but the Putin story is essential.

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a scathing attack on the West on Thursday, accusing Washington of imperialism and of starting a new arms race.

"We are not the initiators of this new round of the arms race," Putin told a joint Kremlin news conference. "There is no need to fear Russia's actions: They are not aggressive," he said. "They are a mere response to harsh and groundless unilateral actions by our partners and are aimed at maintaining the balance of forces in the world."

Putin said Russia had to design new missiles after Washington quit the Cold War-era Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) treaty in order to pursue its missile shield project.

"We have warned them then that we will come out with a response to maintain the strategic balance in the world," he said.

Now if that's not enough to make you wonder where North America is headed, how about this beauty, also from May 31st.

Doomed GM plant is nation's most productive

Yes, that's right. GM is closing a plant because it was TOO productive! Those workers are just too good, we have to let them go. Hmmm...I guess they will have to find jobs in the service industry, because it won't be long before all manufacturing is done outside North America.

You see, its the workers fault, because they want pensions. GM of course axed The Electric Car. They decided it was cheaper to sue the State of California to roll back clean vehicle regulations than it was to build electric vehicles. GM believed the price of oil would remain low and people would always want SUVs^[3] rather than small electric cars.

Of course, SUVs and trucks outsold cars for a number of years, but that trend has stopped, obviously due to continued increases in gas prices.

Obviously GM was looking out for oil companies best interests, who have posted record profits in the last few years (surprise surprise). To take a more in-depth look into corporate logos here or here and you will begin to realize the extent of secret associations among businessmen.

Once in a while Science confirms something we already knew, but just had to "prove".

Humans hard-wired to be generous

To understand the current economic situation North America finds itself in, it is necessary to understand what can be called the "Three kinds of conquest".

      "History reveals nations can be conquered by the use of one or more of three methods. The most common is conquest by war. In time, though, this method usually falls, because the captives hate the captors and rise up and drive them out if they can. Much force is needed to maintain control, making it expensive for the conquering nation.

      A second method is by religion, where men are convinced they must give their captors part of their earnings as "obedience to God." Such a captivity is vulnerable to philosophical exposure or by overthrow by armed force, since religion by its nature lacks military force to regain control, once its captives become "disillusioned."

      The third method can be called economic conquest. It takes place when nations are placed under "tribute" without the use of visible force or coercion, so that the victims do not realize they have been conquered. "Tribute" is collected from them in the form of "legal" debts and taxes, and they believe they are paying it for their own good, for the good of others, or to protect all from some enemy. Their captors become their "benefactors" and "protectors."

Although this is the slowest to impose, it is often quite long-lasting, as the captives do not see any military force arrayed against them, their religion is left more or less intact, they have freedom to speak and to travel, and they participate in "elections" for their rulers. Without realizing it, they are conquered, and the instruments of their own society are used to transfer their wealth to their captors and make the conquest complete. Then there are of course, the stranger things that go on in this world, like how the media devoted hours of time to the Anna Nicole Smith Fiasco, or Britney Spears shaving her head. It seems so strange that it must be a PR stunt, and yet, it may reveal a bit more as well. Britney was quoted as saying she cut off her hair because "I don't want anyone touching me. I'm tired of everybody touching me." Referring to stylists, make-up artists, and so on.
